The shot blasting machine for agricultural machinery installed in November 2009 at South Africa, it is a machine type suitable for treating steel construction of agricultural machines with maximum dimensions: width 1500 mm and height 2500 mm.The shot blasting machine is equipped with 12 single-disc turbines patented by BlastKing Group, each turbine with a power of 7.5 Kw, the aim is to reach a final finishing grade of SA 2½, in preparation for the subsequent painting treatment.

The steel construction to be treated are moved at a speed of 0,5 meters per minute.
This speed allows the shotblasting treatment in the best performance: achieve the required degree of finishing, without using abrasive with big dimension, which could damage the pieces with an action too intense.

One of the requirements from the customer was to perfectly integrate the blasting machine with an existing painting plant, in order to work in line, with a continuous flow.
BlastKing’ know-how engineer team adopted for a tunnel shot blasting machine, with rubber liner placed at the entrance and exit of the system, for the blasting chamber and the connection areas between the blasting chamber  and the exit/entrance vestibule we adopted the high manganese plate to project the machine from abrasion by high speed blasting media.

The speed of the turbines is adjustable by means of an frequency inverter.
The whole shot blasting system combined with the existing painting equipment realized automatically blasting and painting and greatly increased the productivity for customers to adapt the expansion of production requirement,  which also saved a vastly labor cost on manual grinding the steel constructions for customer from long term use view point.
