Paver Blocks Shot Blast Machine Introduction

Shot blasting or surface treatments are not always used for cleaning, polishing, or strengthening, and the material to be blasted is not always metallic.
Therefore, blasting techniques have been developed that allow for different surface finishes on many different materials in order to enhance the aesthetics (appearance of the part) or to change the surface and way it works.
Polishing on concrete & stone blocks enhances aesthetics. In this case, the concrete & stone suppliers can sell the product at a higher price in a broader market because the concrete is more attractive and can be used in more domestic commercial construction projects.

In other words, using polished concrete improves the way it runs – for example, it makes it smoother and easier to paint.

BlastKing paver blocks shot blast machine provide efficient and high-quality blasting of concrete products (concrete blocks, concrete slabs, curbs, etc.).

Advantages: Shot blasting differentiates concrete blocks and gives them a high-quality appearance, which in turn increases the added value of the product.

Selective use of two, three, or four blast turbines with programmable start/stop in specific locations allows for targeted treatment of visible horizontal and vertical surfaces – such as fence blocks, curbstones, or stone steps.

Paver blocks shot blast machine can be integrated into the production line thanks to modern control systems with relevant interfaces, different belt lengths, and well-coordinated staging stations (e.g. slabs or rollers). The machine can be easily operated using the Siemens touch screen.

The BlastKing paver blocks shot blast machine can handle workpieces from 600 mm to 1500 mm wide. Indexing operations and continuous operations are possible. The conveyor runs smoothly at speeds between 2.5 m/min to 14 m/min.

“Trustworthy process technology.”

The equipment is designed to be flexible and easy to control, providing optimal blasting for a variety of concrete products. For concrete, a fragile material, this is of utmost importance: to ensure the desired finish/appearance, the blast pattern must be uniform and should not overlap with the different blast turbines.

Blow off station

Stainless steel shot is the preferred shot material for shot blasting of concrete products. After the shot blasting, an emission station with a high-pressure fan removes the shot blasting from the surface of the concrete block. The nozzle height is adjustable, so it can be used to handle concrete blocks of different sizes.

Blasting Cabinets

The blasting chamber is fabricated by high strengthened steel plates and profile steel which ensures adequate intensity and rigidity of the machine. ,blast wheels layout adopt 3-D dynamic simulation design, which ensures optimal shot blasting angle and distance.

As with all BlastKing Blast Machines adopt easy replaceable high manganese steel guard liner on hot blasting zone, which is hard enough to deal with the shot blasting hardness up to 60HRC. The overlapped liner blocks are installed inside the blasting chamber which eliminate any possibility  that the high  speed blasting media will hit the blasting chamber directly.

BlastKing group have the patented technology of the direct drive blasting turbine which motor power from 22kw to 75kw.

Our blasting turbine adopt Germany coupling technology, compared with the old belt drive technology, BlastKing’blasting turbine increases life on wheel parts 50% to 100% compared to other direct drive wheels. And the effective trouble free running time increases more than 200%. Longer parts life means lower operating costs and greater productivity.

Blasting turbine impeller: the impeller adopt Wear-resistant alloy with carburizing treatment. The carburized and quenched 20CrMnMo Impeller body are made of a one-time processing by high-precision CNC machining center, which to ensure the balance, low noise and long life during high speed operation.

Use the Sweden SKF bearings.

Blades, wear parts are made of high chromium Cr27 investment casting which ensures high abrasion resistance, the service life is up to 2000 hours, which is 3 times of the ordinary casting material;

Using Germany Schenck dynamic balance instrument to ensure that the high-speed dynamic balance of the impeller.

All blast turbines are load test before assembled.

Cartridge Filter Unit

Each BlastKing machine is equipped with multiple cartridge filters. Above all these filters are necessary to remove any impurities from the air used to blast resulting in a more even, direct, and effective blast.

  • Large distance between folds in each cartridge filter leads to precise cleaning and better air pressure.

BlastKing’s Shot Blaster is designed for customers who require a more sophisticated method than just manual cleaning in preparation for further processing or painting.

The BlastKing’s Shot Blaster is designed to use the round steel shot, steel grit, steel cut wire, stainless steel shot, etc. In a word, The shot is recycled inside the system and gets smaller and smaller during the blasting process until it is completely consumed. It requires approximately two ton blasting media for start-up, and the whole blasting unit will consume approximately 10 to 20 pounds blasting media per blasting hour.

The electrical system runs on three-phase input, so please check your existing tranformer capacity before get the machine. Moreover, the whole blasting unit also need clean and dry compressed air supply.

The BlastKing’s highly efficient ORICA blast turbines require much less power than competitor’s blasting turbines.

Technically speaking, including abrasive consumption, power consumption, and maintenance, the total operating cost averages around US$5 to  US$15 per hour, but this is relevant to the power price, blasting media quality and price, etc. When comparing this to your current methods, keep in mind that the BlastKing’s shot blaster is at least 4 to 20 times as productive as manual cleaning.

No, once the machine is installed and adjusted by our skilled employees, any people who have been sucessfully trained by BlastKing’s qualified employees can operate and maintain the blasting unit under the operation manual provided by BlastKing .

For BlastKing’s standard blasting unit, one people will be enough. But for the custom complex production line integrated with shot blaster, the number of operators is varied according to the other accesssory equipment and the whole line automaticity.
